Gaz Coombes follows his recent solo album ‘Matador’ with the release of new single “Detroit” on 6th April 2015.
A tale of a late night existential crisis set to glorious widescreen Kraut-heavy power pop, “Detroit” is one of many stand-out tracks from the hugely acclaimed ‘Matador’. A limited edition 10” of “Detroit” will be released on Record Store Day (18th April) backed with a live version of the track recorded at the 229 Club.

Gaz Coombes has also today announced that he will play a series of new UK live dates in the spring alongside already announced festival gigs at Liverpool Sound City (22nd – 24th May 2015 with the Vaccines, the Flaming Lips and Belle and Sebastian) and Field Day in London (Sunday June 7th alongside Ride, Patti Smith and Jane Weaver).
