Gaz Coombes has announced details of a new single from his hugely acclaimed second solo album. “Matador [Da Capo]” is a completely reworked version of the album’s title track – an extended re-recording that pushes the dreamlike original into something wide-eyed and gloriously anthemic.
A limited-edition “Matador [Da Capo]” EP will be released on numbered & coloured 12” heavyweight vinyl. It comes backed with a demo of the single, a spectral new instrumental track (“4 Track Loop”) and two live versions of Matador album tracks recorded at Gaz’s recent show at the Old Market, Brighton & Hove. The EP tracklist is:
Side A:
1. Matador (Da Capo)
2. Matador (Demo)
3. 4 Track Loop
Side B:
1. Buffalo (Live)
2. To The Wire (Live)

Continuing a heavy touring schedule that’s recently seen him play venues such as London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, Hyde Park (with The Who) and a packed-out field at Glastonbury Festival, Gaz is due to play a few more UK festivals plus his biggest headline shows to date (in Manchester and London).
