TRACK PREMIERE: No Time For Reason - 'Novocaine'

After a great 2019 with a string of sold-out shows, rave press features and widespread radio airplay, Newcastle rockers No Time For Reason are back today with their new single Novocaine. The new song displays a more mature, darker side to their songwriting skills following the buzzy thrills of the punky Catfish and Reviver singles. The anthemic Novocaine is available on download and streaming platforms now, and the band have announced a headline hometown show at Newcastle’s O2 Academy at the end of January.

“Novocaine explores my struggles with love and relationships, and how my party lifestyle has affected my mental health,” explains frontman David Stoker. “Novocaine is a drug that doctors use to numb certain parts of the body and it’s used as a metaphor within the song – suggesting that I might be numb to love or the right relationship.”

Fronted by Stoker, No Time For Reason have cemented themselves quickly on the rock scene with a string of attention-grabbing releases and sold-out shows around the North East (including a show at the legendary Cluny). The band, also consisting of Charlie Philp (Lead Guitar), Henry Poxon (Bass) and Tony Liam (Drums), have forged a dynamic mix of rock riffs and attitude alongside pop hooks and punk energy. No Time For Reason will be touring hard and hitting festivals in 2020, and have a run of new singles set for release this year.

They play a headline show at O2 Academy Newcastle on 30th January.
