After announcing their plans to release their long-awaited sixth studio album ‘TV Show’ in the coming months, marking their first full-length in six years, The Pigeon Detectives follow up the record’s euphoric lead single “Lovers Come And Lovers Go” with the anthemic new offering “Falling To Pieces”.

Continuing to explore more of that raw and energetic indie-rock aesthetic they are bringing back for this new LP, “Falling To Pieces”, makes for an incredibly fun and uplifting listen. With its broad and driven hooks, pulsing atmosphere, and infectious vocals layered throughout, they are looking to make this new material some of their most electrifying to date.

Adding about “Falling To Pieces”, they said, “Sometimes a song writes itself, the good ones, the really really good ones always do and they just come easy because you know you’re onto something special straight away…file “Falling To Pieces” into that category. We wrote this one to play live, we wrote this one to kick off the mosh pits at a festival and to raise the roof of every venue when we take it on tour. Lyrically it’s about admitting that things in life aren’t always great, that sometimes the things that are going wrong are probably your own fault, but if you hang on in there the bad times will pass and it always gets better. This is a really fun song to play as a band and we think you’re going to love it”.

The new single is accompanied by a high-energy video created by Sodium and shot in a warehouse in Leeds. Watch it BELOW:

Produced by the renowned Rich Turvey (Blossoms, The Coral, Oscar Lang), their new album ‘TV Show’ looks to cement a rebirth within the band’s own legacy. After storming the stage at countless festivals in the summer of 2022, The Pigeon Detectives quickly became one of the more talked about names on the circuit once again, feeding the public’s need for anthemic indie-rock tunes after years of isolation and social distancing.

Speaking about the new album, they said, “Making music together for all these years has been the greatest gift of our lives. This album gives a nod to every step we have taken on the amazing journey we have been on as five scruffy friends from Rothwell, whilst also driving our sound to new, exciting areas. Above all though it is full of absolute bangers and we just can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

To celebrate the release of ‘TV Show’, the band also set to embark on a number of record store shows performances across the UK.
