Amanda Shires brings her ‘Streetlights and Stars’ European Tour to The Limelight, Belfast

AMANDA SHIRES

Amanda Shires has released nine acclaimed albums since 2005. In 2019, she founded The Highwomen, a groundbreaking Americana supergroup with Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, and Natalie Hemby, created to address gender inequality in country music.

Amanda won a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album in 2018 as part of Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit for their album The Nashville Sound.

She’s currently on an extensive North American tour supporting Nobody’s Girl, and as of fall 2025, she was performing at venues like the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis and announcing additional headlining shows.

Her work has been praised by major publications including The New York Times, which called her 2022 album Take It Like a Man “electrifying” and noted it “ought to make this wildly underrated country-music Zelig into a household name”. The Los Angeles Times described her as “a coveted presence at the intersection of nervy artistry and activism, folk and country acclaim, rock attitude and Nashville influence”.
