Serpent Power has announced details of their debut UK tour, following on from the release of their self titled critically acclaimed debut album through Skeleton Key Records. It features a collaboration between Ian Skelly (The Coral) & Paul Molloy (The Zutons). The self produced 12-track album was recorded at Castle Grayskull Studios on Merseyside late 2014.
Skelly & Molloy met at an after show party in Liverpool – the pair discovered an instant songwriting chemistry, and immediately booked a studio to begin work on an album. Deciding to keep the name of Ian’s backing band from his ‘Cut from A Star’ solo album tour; “Serpent Power” was born. After an intense flurry of recording activity, the album was complete – the pair has created a strange and bizarre world of warped madness.
