The Outside Looking In’ provides a first real insight into the shimmering pop penchants of The Peach Fuzz. Hidden Away under the tutelage of The Coral's James Skelly, The Peach Fuzz unveiled their debut single on Skeleton Key Records in late 2018, amidst growing hype, and their latest release showcases impressive depth to their songwriting.
The only love song in their current repertoire, the new single reveals a tender reflection of a different side to the band. Illuminated further by sparkling synths and bouncing melodies, the song reaches it’s romantic climax as the sweeping melody of the chorus “The colours of your open mind”, enters emphatically amidst glistening guitar lines. ‘The Outside Looking In’ is a recorded representation of the bands energetic live sound, on which their growing reputation is steeped.
Produced by Chris Taylor and James Skelly, and recorded in Liverpool's famous Parr Street Studios during January 2019, The Peach Fuzz’ latest release looks set to see the promising pop outfit begin the year strongly.
