Female-fronted hard rock collective Hearts and Hand Grenades make their powerful return with ground shaking EP ‘Adrenaline’, May 1st. Drawing influence from the likes of Metallica, AC/DC, Flyleaf and Halestorm, Hearts & Hand Grenades take a fresh approach to the hard rock genre and aim to fill the hole where true rock used to live.
Lead vocalist Stephanie Wlosinski and Mike Bress (rhythm guitar and keys) are no strangers to the industry and have been rocking the cover music scene in the Buffalo, NY for the past 8 years in various bands. After seven years of 200 plus shows per year, it was time to bust into the original music scene. After joining forces with Tom Lafferty (drums) and Kenny Blesy (lead-guitar), Hearts and Hand Grenades was born.
Now returning with ‘Adrenaline’, Hearts and Hand Grenades showcase their ability to provide colossal riff-infused anthems, driven by monstrous guitars and flawless vocals.
Speaking more on the EP, Hearts and Hand Grenades stated: “Adrenaline is our third EP release and we believe that this is our most powerful piece of work to date. Creating the songs started out the same way we created the first two EP’s. We generally start out with some guitar riffs that fit the feel that we are looking for. In this EP we were all guns blazing. We wanted to create some songs that we felt at home with. We love the hard rock genre and I think we accomplished our mission with Adrenaline. There are inspirational flavours of rock music spanning over the last 40 years in this EP and we hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
