Oh Yeah Music Centre Releases ‘Scratch My Progress Vol. 14’ EP

Scratch My Progress

The Oh Yeah Music Centre has released Scratch My Progress Vol. 14, a new EP showcasing music from the four artists selected for the programme’s 2025 cohort.

This year’s cohort features Lord Jane, Pinsleep, GUSH and The Thing Is…, with the release marking the culmination of nine months of mentoring, recording, professional development and live performance opportunities.

Supported through the PRS Foundation Talent Development Fund and IMRO, Scratch My Progress is designed to help emerging artists develop their careers and take the next steps in the music industry.

The programme offers tailored support including one-to-one mentoring, industry masterclasses, studio recording time, professional photography, live performance opportunities and career development guidance.

Mentor Ben Magee said: “It’s been a pleasure supporting this year’s Scratch My Progress cohort. Their passion, dedication and creativity have been inspiring, and we’ve produced some fantastic music that reflects the breadth of talent emerging from Northern Ireland. We wish them every success as they continue their artistic journeys.”

Now in its 15th year, Scratch My Progress remains one of Northern Ireland’s longest-running artist development programmes. Previous participants include Problem Patterns, Sasha Samara, Sister Ghost, Wynona Bleach, Lemonade Shoelace and Kitt Philippa.

The EP will be launched with a special live showcase at Oh Yeah Music Centre as part of Sound of Belfast on Tuesday, November 10, featuring performances from all four participating artists.

Further details on the release and showcase event will be announced later this year.
