Kingfishr have announced three major outdoor headline shows for 2027, including a Belfast Belsonic date. The Irish trio will play Belsonic in Belfast on June 11, 2027, before heading to Marlay Park in Dublin on June 19 and Thomond Park in Limerick on July 10. The three shows will see the band perform to a combined audience of more than 90,000 people.
The announcement follows a run of stadium and arena shows across Ireland and continues a major breakthrough period for the band. Their single “Killeagh” spent 17 weeks at Number 1 in Ireland, while their debut album Halcyon also topped the Irish charts. Current single “The Sun Will Never Settle” has also reached Number 1 domestically.
Kingfishr’s success has also translated to the UK, with Halcyon reaching Number 7 and the band selling 60,000 tickets for their recent headline tour, which included two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
Speaking about the new dates, frontman Eddie Keogh said: “Before we started the band, we had been to many of the venues we played last week to see our favourite artists play: Mumford & Sons, Paolo Nutini, The Killers being the ones that spring to mind. Being on those stages was nothing short of an out of body experience. The support we felt every night was some we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We want to do it again, but bigger. So that’s what we’re doing.”
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, June 26. Fans who sign up to the Kingfishr mailing list can access a pre-sale from 10am on Wednesday, June 24, with a Mastercard pre-sale opening at the same time.
