INTERVIEW: Nathan Connolly on his debut solo album ‘The Strange Order Of Things’

Nathan Connolly

In episode #127 of The XS Noize Podcast, Mark Millar meets Snow Patrol guitarist Nathan Connolly to discuss his debut solo album, The Strange Order Of Things.

Nathan Connolly has been the guitarist with the acclaimed Northern Irish rock band Snow Patrol since 2002. Nathan began working on his debut solo album with producer Rocky O’Reilly in Belfast in 2017. A lockdown-imposed hiatus from Snow Patrol touring allowed him to finish the project in early 2021.

The Strange Order Of Things features vocals from Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro and Irish artist Ailbhe Reddy. In this interview, Nathan talks about writing and recording the album, upcoming solo live shows – what’s next for Snow Patrol and lots more.
