Pussyfoot Records founder, Howie B has shared a new single on his renowned and newly relaunched independent imprint. ‘Harmonica’ features the voice of American actor/director and The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus. Looped, ambient and beautifully hypnotic, the track is lyrically inspired by the psychological poetics of R.D Laing and looks at the relationship between parent and child.
The single release coincides with the first episode of hit AMC television show Ride With Norman Reedus in which the Scottish electronic music DJ / Composer features as a guest. The unlikely couple ride around London on Vespa scooters and penny - farthing bicycles and stop at Air-Edel Studios in Marylebone where the pair record the track. The episode can be seen on the AMC Channel on the 10th of February.
‘Harmonica’ is the second musical collaboration from the pair, their first single ‘A Letter Frome Space’ featured on Pussyfoot Records’ recent and acclaimed space themed compilation album ‘Space Is The Plaice’. Norman Reedus and Howie B first met in an Igloo in Gestad twenty years ago and immediately bonded over their shared passion for music and artistic creation.
