Ewan Pearson has remixed the opening track from Steven Wilson’s massively acclaimed seventh album, The Harmony Codex.

Ewan Pearson brilliantly transforms Wilson’s otherworldly original into a cosmic disco odyssey perfectly made for dancing in outer space. Built on top of a precision kick drum, handclaps and a persistent cowbell rhythm, Pearson’s Inclination glistens with swirls of piano, cascading synth lines and a haunting vocal. As the track peaks, the whole thing soars off into the cosmos for a dubbed four-minute coda.

Inclination is available as a limited edition 12” featuring vocal and instrumental remixes. It will be sold through selected retailers. Both mixes are online everywhere now. Watch the visualiser below.

Steven Wilson’s deep dive podcast series The Album Years (recorded with his No Man bandmate Tim Bowness) continues its current run focused solely on long players made in 1977. Since beginning in 2020, The Album Years has received huge support from fans and regularly sits in the Top 5 music podcasts on Apple and Spotify.
