BILLY LOCKETT announces headline Belfast show @ The Limelight 2, Wednesday 17th April 2019

Up and coming singer-songwriter Billy Lockett announces a headline Belfast show at The Limelight 2 on Wednesday 17th April 2019. Billy’s brand new single ‘Feels So Good’ is available now and he plays his biggest headline show to date at The Shepherds Bush Empire October 9th.

‘Feels So Good’ builds from reverb-drenched guitar to an epic crescendo of piano and synths. Produced by Sam Dixon (Jack Savoretti/Adele) and MyRiot (London Grammar) the track is another perfect example of Billy’s emotive vocals and ear for a hook. The track follows previous single ‘Empty House’ and his ‘Burn It Down’ EP which reached Number 1 on the singer-songwriter chart and received over 6 million streams.

‘The record is about that dangerous cycle of always going back to your ex,’ says Billy. ‘It’s about making rules with yourself when you know deep down you’ll eventually break them, and it’s also about the appeal of being with someone you shouldn’t be with’.

With champions from BBC Radio 1, 6Music, The Telegraph, The Independent, Metro, Evening Standard and The Times, support slots with Lana Del Rey and Birdy under his belt, as well as multiple sold-out London dates, including a Union Chapel show complete with string quartet in February, Billy is set to make 2018 his own.
