Hailing from Carrickfergus, Lee Rogers spent his formative years growing up under the dark cloud of the troubles. With inspiration drawn from the classic voices outside of the tensions in his homeland – Bill Withers, Marc Cohen, Tom Waits and the like were all bright colours from a musical palette far away from the often-grim surroundings of Northern Ireland at that time.
Lee’s voice and sound pulls from the vast well of timeless Americana, all the while underpinned by the authentic writings of his life and its surroundings. After a nearly eight-year Hiatus, Rogers teamed up with fellow Northern Irish songwriter and producer Gareth Dunlop in early 2020 to begin recording and releasing music again.

Lee Rogers will release his new album Gameblood on 13 May 2022 and perform as a special guest to Foy Vance on both his North American Tour (May 2022) and European Tour (Sept 2022).
