Scottish/American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Daisy Chute brings us a beautiful new single, ‘Hold Onto Us.’ It is a collaboration between three acclaimed acts well established on the UK Folk / Americana scene: The Dunwells, Hollie Rogers, and Daisy.
‘Hold Onto Us’ is a folky love song that seamlessly fuses styles and influences of each artist; Daisy’s pure voice and banjo-led Folk and Americana, The Dunwells’ hooky choruses and production, and Hollie’s soulful, bluesy vocals. Released on 14th Feb 2024 (Valentine’s Day) and now available on all streaming platforms, the single was written on National Banjo Day (8th April) at The Dunwells’ studio in Leeds. A music video filmed at Black Deer festival last year by Bartek Podkowa is set for release soon, and you can already hear the single played at Cafe Neros across the globe.

Daisy is also featured as a vocalist and co-writer on a new single with Ed Blunt ‘We All Need Someone’. It is out now and featured on his upcoming album featuring guest vocals from Beth Nielsen Chapman and Hollie Rogers.
Daisy Chute has garnered a loyal following through her award-winning projects, most recently receiving a Grammy for her involvement in The Birdsong Project alongside Robert Thomas and a host of other established artists on the scene. Daisy received FATEA’s EP of the year award (2022) for ‘Songs of Solace’, and released her latest EP ‘Maiden, Mother, Crone’ in April 2023 with an album on the way this coming year. Regularly selling out shows across the UK, Europe and US, Daisy can be spotted with a guitar or banjo at top arts venues such as Kings Place London, Pound Arts Corsham, and Cambridge Junction and has performed at festivals including Black Deer, Bristol Folk, Cambridge Folk, Beardy Folk, Wickham (mainstage) and Glastonbury. 2024 is no exception, with tours across the U.K. and Europe co-headlining with artists James Walker and later with Lady Nade and Hollie Rogers.
