VIDEO PREMIERE: Archive share new single ‘We Are The Same’ & announce ‘Call To Arms & Angels Tour’ 1

South London collective Archive today announced their most extensive tour to date. The Call To Arms & Angels Tour takes place in October and November 2022 and sees the band play some of the most prestigious venues in Europe, including with their largest headline show to date at Paris Accor Arena on 25 November, with the final show of the tour at EartH Hall in East London on 26 November.

The tour dates are below and tickets are on sale Friday – here.

In addition to the tour, the band today release ‘We Are The Same’ – the latest single taken from their highly anticipated forthcoming album – ‘Call To Arms & Angels’, which is released on 8 April. Talking about the song, vocalist Holly Martin says “We Are The Same represents how we’re trapped in a societal divide, seeing the things we hate in others and being unable to recognise them in ourselves… we’re all different, but we’re all the same when we conform”.

The song is an integral part of the album’s narrative that deals with an extraordinary time of the global pandemic and eroded freedoms.

‘We Are The Same’ is the album’s fourth release and follows ‘Fear There & Everywhere’ which was accompanied by Jonathan Irwin’s brilliant surrealist video. The album’s second single was the stark yet beautiful ‘Shouting Within’ and the album’s debut single was the 14+ minute epic-yet-haunting ‘Daytime Coma’.

Meanwhile a 90 minute documentary of the making of the album, ‘Super8: A Call To Arms & Angels’ is to be streamed worldwide on 2nd April at Moment House, with all proceeds from the online premiere being donated to the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Tickets are available now at https://www.momenthouse.com/archive.

Pre-orders, including exclusive bundles for ‘Call To Arms & Angels’, are available from here and pre-save it here.
