TWISTED WHEEL release new single 'DNA' - Listen Now

Twisted Wheel have announced the release of their new single ‘DNA’, the second track taken from their forthcoming new album set for release on November 2019.

‘DNA’ shows a side of Wheel that has never been seen before and brings about their most beautiful and poignant moment to date on the band’s forthcoming album. The story of lead singer Jonny Brown’s mother passing away brings forth a whole universe of ups and downs. During her final days he spent four weeks lay next to her on the hospital floor in Spain. One night he travelled back to her apartment in severe need of rest, later receiving the devastating news that she had passed away.  After several years of battling his own demons, conquering and getting his life back on track Brown wrote the song as a tribute to his late mother. It captures everything he could have hoped for with an abundance of love, passion and emotion that builds towards a thrilling crescendo of true rock n roll firepower.

‘DNA’ follows previous single ‘Nomad Hat’ in exploring new sonic avenues for the band, setting them wide apart from many of their contemporaries. ‘Nomad Hat’ received an impressive amount of regional radio airplay and has proved to be one of the band’s most successful releases to date, becoming a true live favourite in process. Despite having no record label or major radio play the band reached number one in the UK physical charts in 2018 with the Jonny Guitar EP. The band aim to reach the same level of chart success with the forthcoming album release which will be available on all major online formats via Townshend, including 12-inch vinyl.
