After a long day in the studio during the summer of 2014, The Twang began tinkering with a tune about a young man sitting at a bar, struggling to make sense of his life. From that day the song took on a life of it’s own. The band quickly agreed that it sounded like a Christmas classic.
They named it ‘On the 24th’. The Twang will make the track available to fans on Thursday, December 1st. They will also play their ninth annual Christmas show to three thousand devoted fans at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on December 17th. Support comes from hotly-tipped newcomers Cabbage, along with a DJ set from Swim Deep.
The bands festive shows have become a Birmingham Institution and are always absolute chaos.
