SLEEPER Release New Single ‘The Sun Also Rises’ – Listen Now

Britpop favourites SLEEPER announce new album + UK dates

SLEEPER release their brilliant new single ‘The Sun Also Rises’. Taken from their hotly anticipated new album ‘The Modern Age’, the track is available digitally now, with a limited edition coloured vinyl 7″ coming out on April 26th.

The New album, ‘The Modern Age’, released on March 22nd is the band’s first album for 21 years. The band spent the summer of 2018 recording ‘The Modern Age’ with their longtime producer, Stephen Street – a relationship that clicked into place again right away.

The sparkling ‘The Sun Also Rises’ sees vocalist Louise Wener offering hope and positivity after a personal loss with the song giving the album it’s most uplifting moment. “It’s a song about celebrating life. Living every moment, appreciating what you have and letting optimism back in.”
