Revolution Of Minds lead single ‘Resister’ is currently on BBC 6Musics A-List, and earlier this week Steve Lamacq had the band in for a live session (listen again here – https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/play/m0000jxr). The songs powerful video was directed and produced by James Slater (Blossoms, Bill Ryder-Jones, Jamie T).
Produced by James Skelly at Liverpools Parr Street Studios. Revolution Of Mind is the follow-up to She Drew The Guns acclaimed 2016 debut Memories Of Another Future, which contained the BBC 6Music playlisted singles Poem, Pit Pony, Since You Were Not Mine and No Hole In My Head.
Roach draws musical inspiration from the likes of underground folk legend Malvina Reynolds, Manchester poet Toria Garbutt, and contemporary voices like Kate Tempest, Nadine Shah and Courtney Barnett. I crave music that says something, she says, music that goes beyond simple love songs.
