PREMIERE: Rachelle Rhienne – ‘M2M’ – Watch Now

PREMIERE: Rachelle Rhienne - ‘M2M' - Watch Now

Catchy, summery Latin infused pop gem by Scottish singer/songwriter Rachelle Rhienne who is currently a judge in the new BBC Series ‘All Together Now’ ahead of her next single release ‘M2M’(Midnight to Morning). And the video is pretty cool too.

She says: Filming and organising the video for M2M has been the most challenging but fun experience I have had yet with video shoots. I really wanted to be involved as much as possible with the storyline and aimed to have a very personal input to the essence of the video’s theme. I worked alongside Arran Christie Dawson (videographer) in directing the video and we were delighted at how everything came together on the day. The video really managed to capture the energy and vibe there was on the day which is what we needed to fit the energy of the song”.

Hot on the heels of her summer single ‘Contigo’, which was released last year, Rachelle Rhienne will be dazzling our TV screens as a judge in the eight part BBC show ‘All Together Now’ due to be aired on 2nd March 2019.  Her TV debut comes ahead of the release of her new single ‘M2M’ (Midnight to Morning), which is another upbeat Latin/pop inspired track. The song is a sensual trip through the world of salsa with a contemporary twist, with real brass instruments (trumpet and trombone) thrown in for good measure, and is sure to get everyone who hears it up on their feet and swaying to the rhythm.

A writing collaboration between Rachelle Rhienne, Chris Swan and James Birt (with James Birt also on production), ‘M2M’ is the ultimate summer vibe with a rhythm that inspires salsa dancing, tropical climates and a love for everything Latin. The song tells the story of two young people who form a bond through their passion for dancing, which quickly and effortlessly translates seamlessly into love for each other. “It’s about love at first sight, having no fears and going with your feelings, and all the time knowing that you can be yourself around someone you consider to be your soulmate”  Rachelle explains.

The video for ‘M2M’ was directed and produced by Arran Christie Dawson and co-produced and choregraphed by Rachelle working with local Scottish, French and London based actors and dancers. Rachelle hand picked her fellow ‘All Together Now’ judge George Fowler to be her lead in the video. George is no stranger to the stage and TV, with appearances in ‘Made in Chelsea’ (Channel 4), ‘Pitch Battle’ (BBC) and on stage in ‘All the Kings Men’ (Leicester Square Theatre).

Rachelle creates catchy up-tempo pop tracks, with subtle influences of soul and R&B. Her strength lies in writing those big, emotional power-ballads with lyrics that tell a story and that touch people with their melodies. Passionate about the Spanish language, Rachelle has translated several of her own songs into Spanish, performing them in Spain and gigs around the UK including King Tuts, SEC Glasgow Armadillo, The Hippodrome (London), Ronnie Scotts and various venues across Europe.

A prolific lyricist, many of Rachelle’s songs have won her awards in song-writing competitions, but she officially came to the attention of the industry in 2015 when she won a national Future Music Song Writing Competition for her track ‘The Chance To Say’.  The spotlight was glaring and it didn’t take long before Rachelle was snatched up by Bright Star Records and began working on recording new music.

The single ‘M2M’ is released on 29th March on Bright Star Records
