LOVE|LESS - Share New Single 'Pins And Needles' - Listen

LOVE|LESS is the sound of five unified and hardworking minds coalescing to create energetic and formative modern punk-rock, strewn with the beguiling long since passed sounds of early 00’s MTV alt-rock. Their forthcoming EP ‘Hollow Faith’ is the result of this London based quintet’s continuous labour and their enduring determination to grow and the result is nothing short of breath-taking.

The bands sixteen and a half minute exposé is an enthralling blend of captivating melodies and powerful instrumentation, which is heavily redolent of ‘Sing The Sorrow’ era AFI. Elsewhere tracks such as ‘Misery’ calls mind the sounds of Linkin Park and 30STM with their subtle yet effective electronic via alt-rock instrumentation, whilst other tracks such as ‘Pins and Needles’ and ‘The Lonely’ allow LOVE|LESS to put their own finger print on these influences. The band combine kinetic and robust palm muted punk-rock riffs with dynamic instrumental accompaniment, which culminates in anthemic choruses full of intense and catchy pop-infused vocals mirrored by gang shouts and backing vocals that call to mind artists such as Hurts and Panic At The Disco.

Talking about the forthcoming release frontman Shanksy, says “Lyrically the EP touches upon many personal subjects. There is depth, yes”. Guitarist, Joe Shanks goes on to say “We really wanted to capture all of our influences within the EP, the greatest releases to us all have depth and diversity.”

LOVE|LESS effortlessly combine their punk-rock sensibilities with elements of alt-rock and post-pop inflections, which comes together to create an incredibly consummate and sonically mature release. ‘Hollow Faith’ may only be five tracks long but the vast choruses and diverse song structuring leaves you wishing that it was unremitting. LOVE|LESS are just beginning what is likely be a crusade to ascension and we encourage you to follow them on this journey.
