‘’We’ve come a long, long way together’’ is the name of the Fatboy Slim tour that kicked off on November 4th. Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) is one of the most successful English DJ’s and music producers whose songs have been featured in numerous films, video games, commercials, trailers, etc., since his breakthrough in the ’90s.

On November 20th, he visited Nottingham Motorpoint Arena. People were slowly but gradually filling up the Motorpoint Arena while Jaguar - a bubbly, joyful DJ - was warming up the crowd. The stage was placed in the middle of the dancefloor so that people could dance around it. It made the whole experience very unique, and the show felt like a big party.

The night’s headliner was on stage by 21:20. The crowd was immediately ecstatic to see Norman and welcomed him with a loud cheer. You could see on Fatboy Slim’s face that he was genuinely excited to be on the stage.

As he began his set, the stage that was coloured yellow with a smiley face started circling so that people from all sides could see him playing. Mr Cook communicated with the audience throughout the show. He had complete control over the crowd, and it was amazing to see. It was a big cheerful and bright dance party accompanied by Fatboy Slim’s various remixes and variations of his songs.

I would highly recommend going to his gig whenever you have a chance, You will not be disappointed.
