Karol G

Multiple awards-winning Colombian music star, Karol G is set to embark on her very first European tour across nine different countries in Europe. It has been a record-breaking year for the four-time Billboard Music Award winner, who has carried out a remarkable upsurge of the Latin American culture and sounds that has seen her clinch the No. 1 spot on Billboard Top 200.

As she’s set to embark on the European leg of her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour”, here’s everything you need to know about Karol G, the tour, dates, venues and how to get tickets.

Karol G was born Carolina Giraldo Navarro on February 14, 1991, in Medellín, Colombia. She began her music career as a teenager, appearing on the reality competition, the Colombian version of “The X Factor” at the age of 14.

The competition was aimed at discovering the next Latin sensation. But it was met with limited success. She was allegedly told that there was no way a lady would succeed in a male-dominated genre. Thus, meetings with Labels yielded no success. But, this fueled her passion for music even more.

In 2014, she moved to New York City to pursue a music career. She signed with Universal Music Latino in 2016 and released her debut single “Casi Nada”.

Her breakthrough hit came in 2017 with the song “Ahora Me Llama”, featuring Bad Bunny. Following this was a Latin Grammy award for Best New Artist. She was the Latino voice of the year and with this, the inspiration and desire to achieve more came rushing and Karol G was ready for all of it.

Since then, she has collaborated with numerous artists like the Barbie Queen, Nicki Minaj in 2019 on ‘Tusa’, and J Balvin in a remix of ‘Mi Cama’. She also featured Pitbull in a remix of El Chomba’s ‘Dame Tu Cosita’. ‘China’ was released featuring Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, and the Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA.

The album amassed gross figures, of $155.3 million in revenue, with over 925, 000 tickets sold in just 20 shows. The Columbian native was the most-watched artist on YouTube in 2023.
