Internationally successful UK rapper SHOTTY HORROH announces first Irish show

Widely recognized as one of the world’s best battle rappers, Shotty Horroh is set to play his first Irish show on April 4th at the Well, Dublin as part of his Misery Loves Company UK + Irish tour. The rapper is signed to Sony Music and is currently working on his forthcoming album SMILE :). The rapper is part Irish so this is also a homecoming show of sorts for him.

The show will feature support from rising acts in the Irish hip-hop scene: Irish Battle Rap league Rap is Full, Wax White, Paro Pablo, the Off-Key Collective, Jordan Wilson, Omega x Rogan, and Malo the Dj. Early bird tickets have sold out, and next tier tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. The show is hosted by Fluttertone and Dance/Market.

Known for his multi-syllable rhyme patterns, creative wordplay and humorous punchlines, Shotty is arguably the best freestyle talent in the UK and one of the world’s most successful battle rappers. Originally from Manchester, Shotty Horroh has been making and releasing music for the last 12 years. His rap battle against Arsonal Da Rebel became the most-watched battle of all time, catching the attention of deadmau5. In 2017, Shotty moved to Toronto and signed to Mau5trap, though was already working alongside EMD giants deadmau5 and Rezz.

In 2017 he signed a four-album deal with Sony Music. In 2018 he released a rock-infused second album, Salt of the Earth, influenced by Manchester city and the greats that came from it, as well as the council- housing influences that Shotty was born and bred by. On his UK & Irish tour, Shotty will be giving his fans a look into what to expect from forthcoming album SMILE :) before it’s release this year starting with the single “Misery Loves Company.”

His career has featured collaborations with likes of deadmau5, Tory Lanez, Cool G Rap, and James Arthur, and Hip Hop greats such as The Alchemist, M.O.P, Cory Gunz (Young Money, Royce da 5’9, Crooked I, Small World, the Heatmakers and GRAFH.
