The Darkness visited Nottingham as a part of the 20th Anniversary of their Permission to Land tour. The gig was completely sold out, and Rock City was fully packed.

The second they came on stage, the band’s charismatic frontman, Justin Hawkins, took complete control of the crowd. He was crowd surfing, talking to people in the audience and photographers, ensuring everyone was having fun. Rock City shook in the best way possible, thanks to Hawkins’ vocal performance and the band’s fun and uplifting sound.
