The Darkness visited Nottingham as a part of the 20th Anniversary of their Permission to Land tour. The gig was completely sold out, and Rock City was fully packed.
The second they came on stage, the band’s charismatic frontman, Justin Hawkins, took complete control of the crowd. He was crowd surfing, talking to people in the audience and photographers, ensuring everyone was having fun. Rock City shook in the best way possible, thanks to Hawkins’ vocal performance and the band’s fun and uplifting sound.
It was not just a concert but an exciting, loud and energetic party. For those reasons, The Darkness is one of the best live acts in the music industry. Their positive energy is infectious; it helps with forgetting about problems, at least for a bit and celebrating life to the fullest. Treat yourself and go to The Darkness gig at least once!
