IN DYNAMICS PREMIERE 'WALKING LIFE' VIDEO

Brighton alt-rock trio In Dynamics return with news of a brand new video for ‘Waking Life’, The track is taken from their latest release, the ‘Questions’ EP.
Lyrically philosophical and hard hitting, front man and guitarist Beau Boulden is at his best on this track as he ponders; “Where is the end? Where is the beginning? A million wooden boxes in the ground, is anyone in them? Should we imagine or should we ignore? If life is so temporal can we ever be sure? What if I never find the time? What if the time never finds me? Life’s a wonderful lapse of concentration.”

The video is a beautifully shot and directed slice of cinematography, half studio performance and half narrative, which involves Boulden washing up on a beach with possessions that represent the culmination of the many choices he’s made throughout his life. Echoing the philosophical musings of Boulden’s much-praised thoughtful and mature approach to song writing, this Albert Camus-referencing existential crisis lies completely in line with In Dynamics’ morally and socially outspoken material and really cuts to the heart of what makes them such a vital addition to the UK rock scene. If you like your riffs with a bit of brains, look no further.

Watch and share the video below:

“’Waking Life’ is about the fear of not doing everything you want to do in life and the fear of failing to become the person you want to be” explain the band of the meaning behind the video and single ” It’s a reflection on your choices, and how they have affected you and everyone around you.”

Joined by brothers Will Wrench (bass) and Jack Wrench (drums), this tightknit trio have spent the past year building on the success of their debut release ‘Circle’ with their latest EP ‘Questions’, receiving support from Kerrang TV, Scuzz TV, MUZU and VidZone as well as single plays from BBC Radio 1, Kerrang Radio and Amazing Radio. Coupled with shows alongside the likes of The Subways, Arcane Roots, Feed The Rhino, Sonic Boom Six and Blitz Kids, as well as appearing on a live session next to We Are The Ocean, it’s been a strong starting step in the right direction for this family trio.
