DAAY release brand new single ‘Follower’

DAAY

DAAY plans to release four singles in 2024 and is recording more for release as a debut album. The first single, ‘Follower’, is set for release on 2 Feb 2024. The song is about the irresistible urge to follow someone you admire.

DAAY currently perform and record as a six-piece. Formed in London in 2019, DAAY aims to produce mesmeric alternative and experimental dance rock that encourages genre defiance and embraces artwork design and theatre through a live performance spectacle.

DAAY have previously released two singles with Folklore Records based in SE London and have been booked for live shows by Academy Music Group, Friends Serene, Club The Mammoth, Friendship Promotions, Permanent Creeps, Play It Loud UK, VPMG, REAL Music and more.

Previous singles ‘First Light’ and ‘Forever’ have been picked up by many magazines and blogs, including XS Noise, New Noise Magazine, Plastic Magazine, Post-Punk.com, punk-rocker.com, Unsigned Guide, Postcards From The Underground, Mystic Sons, and Iggy Magazine.

‘Dream Kit’ was selected for the Artist Spotlight by Unsigned Guide in September 2021. ‘Dream Kit’ was also played on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 Music show, and the single ‘Forever’ was played on David Gilyeat’s BBC Introducing Oxfordshire show in April and May 2022.
