Bear’s Den today announce details of their new album, ‘Red Earth & Pouring Rain’, for release on 22nd July 2016 on Communion Records. The follow up to 2014’s Ivor Novello-nominated debut, ‘Islands’, the new album sees a group ready to take great leaps forward. Full UK and European tour dates are also announced today including their biggest headline show to date, at Brixton Academy on Tuesday 8th November.
‘Red Earth & Pouring Rain’ was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales with the band’s long term producer Ian Grimble, in sessions following a six week European and UK tour that had culminated in an ecstatically received sold-out show at The Roundhouse last October. This capped a year’s campaigning for Islands that saw the group take their evocative, passionate music to audiences across the UK, Europe, America, Canada and Australia and rack up legions of fans in the process.
Alongside the album news today, Bear’s Den have released a teaser video to give a small taster of what fans can expect from the new record. Watch it BELOW.
