XS NOIZE – Unsigned Showcase #22 - Con Etiquette

At XS Noize, new music is dear to our hearts and we believe that genuinely talented fresh artists deserve a platform to share their material with the world. As such, we will now be showcasing one unsigned act every week, hand picked from submissions by Tom Day for the world to hear. Great news for all you audiophiles out there, but more importantly for those who’s voices deserve to be lifted from the crowd. This week it’s the turn of Con Etiquette.

Artist: Con Etiquette

For Fans Of: The Used, Pearl Jam

In Their Own Words:

Con Etiquette formed in the fall of 2014 following a tattoo session by drummer Mikey on frontman Antonino. The two discussed current and past music projects, varying greatly in styles and genres, from acoustic alternative to grind-core. The two started revisiting some solo tunes from Antonino’s solo ep “Profound”, and the collective unique styles from the two flowed very naturally. After a few weeks of jams and writing sessions the two were joined by Vin on guitar, who had a background in heavier metal bands, and later by Brian on bass, who also had a metal background. Surprisingly all of the unique attributes from each of the members, blended into an organic way to develop their own eclectic sound. The result is the debut album “Resulting In…”.

Why Tom chose Con Etiquette for the showcase:

I like American rock and these guys have it off to a tee. Bolstered by a mix of heaviness from track to track and the ability to change timings mid track keeps their material interesting. I even love how their accents carry through their vocals!
