VIDEO PREMIERE: Johnny Altman - Hallucinating You

Never Too Late To Rock And Roll is the debut album by actor and musician Johnny Altman released on Nov 20th via NUB Music / The Orchard. Familiar with most TV and Film viewers throughout the known world (and possibly beyond), as TV’s most popular bad boy Nick Cotton from BBC’s EastEnders. The lead single from the album is Hallucinating You (Oct 16) and is accompanied by a fantastically shot video which XS Noize is excited to exclusively premiere today!

Johnny Altman has been involved in the music industry for many years as lead singer with his own band Resurrection, as well as fronting the Heavy Metal Kids.

Johnny explains what underpinned writing the album:

“My inspirations for the twelve tracks on Never Too Late To Rock and Roll came from many different sources over the past twenty years. Broken relationships, evil dictators, road movies and memories of being a wild untamed student. It’s an eclectic mix and one that we hope will be highly enjoyable for all generations.”

‘Never Too Late To Rock & Roll’, features tracks that Johnny has written over the last 30 years and is produced by indie legend Mark Christopher Lee who was discovered by John Peel, and plays with Guinness Record-breaking band The Pocket Gods.

Johnny was back on BBC TV earlier this Spring in a new series of ‘The Real Marigold Hotel’, and he’s also released an updated audiobook version of his recent autobiography – ‘In The Nick Of Time’. The book is available from B7 Media and Audible. Recent film credits include ‘Innocent Candy’ and ‘Lucas and Albert’.

His influence includes Elvis, The Beatles, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Roxy Music, The Sex Pistols, Queen, Joe Bonnamassa and many movie soundtracks.
