TRACK OF THE DAY: THE ANTLERS – ‘Director’ (Dave Harrington Remix)

THE ANTLERS - Announce 'The Antlers In London' live album

Proclaimed by as “one of the most interesting indie rock bands working,” Brooklyn band The Antlers have released a powerful reimagining of their track “Director” created by musician and producer Dave Harrington, renowned for his work with Darkside.

The original version of “Director” was featured on the band’s fifth studio album entitled Familiars, heralded as “a magnificent level of heavy songwriting” by Rolling Stone and “thoughtful grandeur” by Stereogum. Harrington’s remix merges the original’s cathartic emotional impact with electronic and cinematic textures to startling effect.
