THE SLOW READERS CLUB - Release 'Supernatural' single - Watch Video

Manchester four-piece THE SLOW READERS CLUB have released their new single, ‘Supernatural’. The new song premiered with Chris Hawkins at BBC 6Music who said The Slow Readers Club are, “A band on the brink of the success that they absolutely deserve.”

Weaving seamlessly between driving rhythms, lush, synth-laden tones and anthemic choruses, the single is the latest to be taken from the band’s third album, Build A Tower, and was remixed by Rich Turvey (Blossoms, The Coral, Courteeners).

Regarding the new single frontman Aaron Starkie says, “ Lyrically, ‘Supernatural’ is about love and vulnerability and the anxiety that comes with surrendering yourself to someone. Musically, If felt like new territory for us when we wrote it - you can hear a progression in our sound, and its one of our favourite tracks on the album.”

Released in May this year via Modern Sky, Build A Tower went straight into the Official UK album chart Top 20 at number 18, 10 in the physical album chart, 4 in the vinyl chart, 4 in the indie album chart and number 1 in the cassette chart.
