The Rasmus is a Finnish band that’s been around for over two decades and remains one of the most popular bands in Europe.
In 2022 the band represented Finland in the Eurovision song contest. On the 30th of October, The Rasmus came to Nottingham. According to the band’s frontman Lauri Ylonen, Rock City is one of their favourite clubs to perform.
The band played their most well-known songs, such as “In the Shadows”, which was dedicated to Ukraine, “Time to Burn”, “Livin’ In a World Without You”, and many others, as well as their new material from the latest album Rise, and “Jezebel” – their Eurovision song.
The Rasmus also played an acoustic version of the fan’s favourite song, “Sophia”. It was great to see that after so many years, the band still sounds fresh and that all the band members are still excited to perform and write new music. See some photos of the band’s performance in Nottingham.
