FREDDIE LONG shares video for new single ’In Your Arms’

Only two weeks in, and ’In Your Arms’ by singer-songwriter Freddie Long, has reached over 100k streams and has been added to various playlists. The newcomer’s song has been picked by BBC Introducing South as “Song of the day”, and was also added to The Sound Lab Syndicated playlist – airing 60 stations worldwide. To celebrate this overwhelming support, Freddie Long releases the official music video for ‘In Your Arms’.

Freddie explains, “I really wanted a simple video for this song and for the longest time I’ve had my eye on all the same coloured rooms sets. So for this, it felt right. The idea was to make multiple pieces of content and then piece them all together to end up with a music video.“

The video shows a set up immersed in orange, in which Freddie performs the song in his usual energetic manner. His outfit was designed and personalized by contemporary fashion innovator Charli Cohen. The entire video not only bears Freddie’s writing, but he is in fact responsible for all of the planning, execution, editing and even the set itself.

“We actually shot this video in Berlin. Me and my manager locked ourselves away for a few days building and paining the set. I think I left the building once to grab a coffee in 4 days”.

Freddie wrote and produced ‘In Your Arms’ with Anders Hojer, who’s best known for his work on James Arthur’s Gold-certified ‘Falling Like The Stars’. Joe Smithson also co-wrote the song and it’s the first song of Freddie Long’s upcoming ‘Motions EP’. Freddie adds “All the songs have a different colour attached to them, for ‘In Your Arms’ we chose orange”.
