TRACK OF THE DAY: EVERYWHERE - 'Shades At Night'

Critically praised alt rock band Everywhere, have released their new single ‘Shades At Night’. Recorded in East West Studios Los Angeles and produced by Mark Needham (Fleetwood Mac, Blondie).

‘Shades At Night’ is the first single of their highly anticipated sophomore EP due out later next year. The track is a cinematic guitar and synth driven stomper, drawing inspiration from mid 80’s pop with front man Max Berga’s slightly nasal crooning on top.

Since their Hypemachine charting debut single ‘Eddie’, Eveywhere’s music has been streamed millions of times on Youtube, Soundcloud and Spotify. The success of ‘Eddie’ led on to an unlikely collaboration with Nu Disco producers Oliver Nelson and Tobtok which allowed the band to reach audiences far beyond the mainstream rock crowd, and catch the attention of radio Dj’s such as the Wideboys at Kiss FM, Alex Lester on BBC 2, Dj Cameo at 1Xtra and X-Press 2 at 6 Music.

They made their first UK appearance at the 2013 NME Awards, playing alongside Django Django and Palma Violets, and later went on to support the Kaiser Chiefs and headline Notting Hill Arts Club. The band have also announced plans to tour the UK next year, details are expected to be confirmed via their official website.
