Check out the new single from PAVES 'Take Me While I'm Here'

London four-piece Paves have revealed their new single ‘Take Me While I’m Here’. With the swaggering bluesy guitar of Blossoms and propulsive rhythm of early Kings of Leon, the song is an aspirational anthem with lead vocalist Luke Shield planning for a big future, telling us to “Take me while I’m here / ‘Cause I won’t be staying long”.

The band’s debut single ‘Dancing ‘Til The End Of Time’ was released in November. A smoky, blues-driven track with vocalist Luke Shield echoing a young Jim Morrison alongside chic wah-wah guitar lines and a funky 60’s inspired groove, it was the first taste of their striking and sharp blend of rock ‘n’ roll. Yet their vintage influences stand proudly alongside a youthful, modern take on indie rock that sets them alongside the varied likes of Temples, Jake Bugg and Arctic Monkeys. Unsurprisingly it was greeted with rave reviews in the rock media.
