Acting Strange have released their debut album, "TALK TALK TALK". If you dig Supergrass, Nick Lowe, Apples in Stereo, or even early ’70s The Sweet or Slade, it should push some buttons. Led by cousins Ali and Billy Strange, Glasgow trio Acting Strange have been together for a few years now, making a glammy racket, on the low-fi tip but armed with big hooks.
The band have come a long way since their debut "Night On The Tiles", which gained support from the likes of DIY, Line Of The Best Fit, Clash, Monolith Cocktail and Impose Magazine and opening for artists like Ezra Furman. Still recording on their trusty 8-track, the Strange boys opted to embrace its limitations by going for a "straight to the point" organic sound, taking cues from the likes of The Pixies, Courtney Barnett and 70's Glam.
