VIDEO PREMIERE: R.O.C - 'Sea of Storms'

Today XS Noize is pleased to premiere the video for ‘Sea of Storms’ from R.O.C.  R.O.C released their fourth album ‘Bile & Celestial Beauty’ in 2019, their first new music in 12 years.

R.O.C are Karen Sheridan (vocals, music), Fred Browning (vocals, music), Danton Supple (production, mixing), Patrick Nicholson (music). Spanning pure pop to pure noise, contrasting Fred and Karen’s devil/angel vocals, their widescreen releases have drawn praise from critics and artists including Radiohead and Orbital.

On the 3rd March R.O.C perform with a full live band and videos from the new album by R.O.C and Oleg Rooz. R.O.C are delighted to be joining Sheep on Drugs and Micko & the Mellotronics for this show.

Sheep On Drugs were formed in the 90s by Duncan X (a.k.a. King Duncan) (vocals) and Lee Fraser (a.k.a. Dead Lee) (guitar/keyboards) and currently feature Fraser and Johnny Borden (vocals/keyboards). Originally classified as part of the rave movement, the duo released a string of singles, including “Motorbike,” “15 Minutes of Fame” and “Track X” (later covered by Grace Jones as “Sex Drive”). “15 Minutes of Fame” reached the lower reaches of the UK Singles Chart as did “From A To H And Back Again”.

Micko & The Mellotronics are delighted to join the bill for this spectacular. Fresh off the release of new single “Noisy Neighbours’ (digital/wax), with new album to follow later in 2020. The Mellotronics feature former Siouxsie & the Banshees guitarist Jon Klein, and supported The Monochrome Set in autumn 2019. Frontman Micko Westmoreland also plays with supergroup The Spammed.
