TRACK PREMIERE: RIVAL KARMA are back today with their rollicking new single Go! - Listen Now

Fuzz-powered alt-rock duo Rival Karma is back today with their rollicking new single Go!, the first track to be lifted from their upcoming new EP A.Y.N (Are You, Ninja?). The EP is set for release on 21st June, was recorded at London’s Fish Factory Studio with producer Sam Miller (The Temperance Movement/Razorlight/VANT) and follows European and US tours and widespread radio support for their previous releases.

Go! is the finished product of a determined pursuit to write a song inspired by an iconic movie scene. As the band were watching the famous ‘Everyone be cool, this is a robbery’ scene from Tarantino’sPulp Fiction, they instantly felt compelled to grab their instruments and to create their own musical interpretation of the heist and getaway. The single’s striking neo-psychedelic artwork is by notable Miami graphic designer Lola Blu (Quest Love/Anderson .Paak).

Rival Karma’s Martin William Ross (Guitar & Vocals) and PJ Ciarla (Drums) channel the energy and vibrancy of London’s city streets and combine them with the muscular and gritty sounds of grunge and classic rock. The duo incorporates Martin’s blend of French and American heritage and PJ’s Italian blood into a distinctive style of alt-rock rich in stylistic flair.

Since 2017 the London-based band have toured across France, Switzerland and Italy, and most recently toured the US West Coast from Phoenix to Seattle with Sofar Sounds. They’ve also performed their unique brand of ‘ninja rock’ (a nimble blend of dirty blues, stoner rock and riff-driven grunge-pop) at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Rival Karma play Camden Rocks Festival on 1st June.
