TRACK PREMIERE: love val - 'Ibuprofen'

“IBUPROFEN” is the first release from love val, a project centred around the idea of letters written to listeners. Influence heavily by heartache and loss, the song invokes strong pop melodies and urban/alternative production, instilling the infectious hook on repeat in your head. When the feelings hit, sometimes the best bet is “S.O.S. I need an Ibuprofen.”

love val is an artist project centred around the concept of writing letters to express emotion. Sonically incorporating elements of pop, RnB and other urban genres, the music is a culmination of the Los Angeles-based self-produced artist Valentin Fritz, also known as VALNTN. Officially breaking onto the music scene with his breakout hit “Can’t Let Go (feat. Emilia Ali)” in late 2016, the song earned him iTunes/Spotify top chart positions in more than 20 countries, was supported by R3HAB, Florida Georgia Line & Dove Cameron, and was ultimately licensed to SONY / ATV.
