TRACK PREMIERE: ENOLA FALL Return with Driving New Indie Rock Single ‘BE FINE’

After a year spent touring their Bloodhound LP in the USA, Australia and their home territory of Tasmania, indie-rockers Enola Fall are back today with their new single Be Fine. The new song serves as a taster for their freshly recorded upcoming new album and offers up 80s-influenced guitar lines alongside driving drums and yearning, emotive melodies.

“It’s a bit heavy, but the song is a conversation about suicide,” explains frontman Joe Nuttall. “Everyone seems to have known someone or worse, loved someone, who has taken their own life. The two choruses are the two voices that talk through the subject, and it ends with what I hope is a final message of determination.”

Listen to ‘Be Fine’ – BELOW:

Somewhere in between The War on Drugs and The National, and raised on Tom Waits and Kate Bush, lives Enola Fall. Formed in Hobart, Tasmania at an uncertain time in the 00s, Enola Fall are indie without limits, colouring outside the lines and fusing elements of folk, metal, cabaret and electro-pop; soaring vocals and relentless beats.

Their last album Bloodhound took them to the USA for the year for residencies and festivals in Los Angeles and Portland. Since forming in the mid-00s they’ve received glowing press from Stereogum, Huffington Post and USA Today, radio support from Triple J, KCRW and KX935 and have toured with Courtney Barnett, Violet Femmes and Amanda Palmer. The band are currently based in Melbourne, but that will probably change shortly.

now.
