TOKYO TEA ROOM Release Highly Anticipated Psych Pop Single ‘FOREVER OUT OF TIME’ - Watch Video

Canterbury music-scene kingpins and BBC Introducing in Kent favourites Tokyo Tea Room are releasing their new single ‘Forever Out Of Time’ on March 27th via Easter Island Records/Painted Halo Records. Accompanying the single which sees the band take a more psych-pop influence with fresh synths, is a kaleidoscopic music video directed by Callum Scott-Dyson for CSD Videography, where footage of the band is cut and pasted against solar-system cinematography in a retro wonderland.

Tokyo Tea Room is the psych pop lovechild of Daniel Elliott and Ben Marshall, where melodic bass lines, hypnotic guitar riffs, and dreamy synths form a unique sound with a soulful personality. From the calm countryside to the big smoke, drawing inspiration from wherever life takes them, Daniel writes, records and produces with the band behind the walls of his own studio Roswell Recordings. ‘Forever Out Of Time’ was recorded and mixed by Daniel Elliott at Roswell Recordings, and mastered by Guy Davie at Electric Mastering.

‘Forever Out Of Time’ is the first in a series of releases planned throughout the year, and Tokyo Tea Room will be celebrating with several live dates in the UK this spring. Known for their electric stage presence, the band have already shared line-ups with the likes of Mystery Jets, Wolf Alice, The Big Moon, Super Furry Animals, The Moonlandingz and Spring King.
