THE CORONAS - Return to Belfast’s iconic ULSTER HALL this December.

THE CORONAS return to Belfast’s iconic ULSTER HALL this December. The band have performed festival slots all summer at Sea Sessions, Live At The Marquee Cork, Galway Arts Festival & Independence, as well as their biggest, ever headline show in The Royal Hospital at Kilmainham Dublin on July 1st – which was totally sold out. Don’t miss one of the most exciting Irish live acts in Belfast this December.

THE CORONAS recently released an extraordinary new album, Trust The Wire – a week one number ONE record in the Irish charts. A sonic leap on from its predecessors, this new record sees the award-winning, arena-conquering band fuse their arms-aloft melodic pop with lush electronics, spine-tingling atmospherics and a new-found sense of adventure.

Trust The Wire was written in summer 2016 at a rented house in Dingle. “It’s a beautiful, isolated place where we’ve been doing our whole lives,” says Danny. The band then returned to London and Notting Hill’s Eastcote Studios to record with producer Eliot James (Kaiser Chiefs, Two Door Cinema Club), with whom they made The Long Way.

Trust The Wire may mark the start of a new chapter in The Coronas’ career, but some of the hallmarks of the band’s previous albums remain, not least the glorious, soaring choruses and lyrics that lend themselves to being howled back. The single, Real Feel, proved a rousing, festival summer anthem, while Gut Feeling is a piano-driven, sunshine-soaked ode to trusting your instincts. I Have No Age is ‘70s-tinged electronic rock and the sweet, sparse Not What You Know returns The Coronas to their folky roots.

THE CORONAS are about to embark on a tour to include shows across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Australia and then returning to Belfast for their final show of 2017 – at the Ulster Hall.

One show NOT to be missed – THE CORONAS at the Ulster Hall this December 21st
