PRETTY VICIOUS announce 'Cave Song' EP, watch video for title track

Pretty Vicious announce the Cave Song EP, a four-song collection to be released June 17th on Virgin EMI. The title track was premiered last night by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1.

Ever since they burst onto the scene last year with their rabble rousing and incendiary tracks such as ‘National Plastics’, ‘It’s Always There’ and ‘Are You Ready For Me’, the Merthyr Twdfil four piece, fronted by the 18 year old Brad Griffiths, haven’t showed any signs of slowing down. This includes two sold out tours of the UK, supporting The Vaccines, Wolf Alice and The Courtneneers, a 500 capacity headline show at Dingwalls in London and festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Isle Of Wight Festival.

Featuring three brand new songs and a new version of the title track that first got them noticed and signed, the Cave Song EP shows the strides the young quartet have been making, weaving influences of stoner rock, grunge, psychedelia and punk. The songs showcase a newfound emotional and songwriting depth and sophistication, as with the alternately reflective and throbbing yet thoroughly catchy ‘Down My Way’, the hard-bitten and mesmerising ‘Ambien’, or the early Nirvana-esque raging of ‘Black And Blue’.
