Since their debut, NYC 5-piece Night Without Cars has managed to build a hugely loyal online following, along with support from some of the world’s biggest platforms such as Amazon Prime, Xbox and PS4. Now, they make their return with ‘Hurry Up and Wait’ featuring their recent single ‘Endless Days’. XS Noize is pleased to exclusively premiere the album today.
Comprised of Jack Weppler (vocals), Alex Laudani (guitar) Richie Cluxton (bass), Matt Carlin (keys) and Micah Cowher (drums), Night Without Cars draw influence from the likes of Local Natives, Beck and the 1975, tastefully combining modern pop music with 90’s rock nostalgia.
Night Without Cars burst onto the scene back in 2017, under their original name SCR, with their song “Not Quite Done Yet”. The music video for the song garnered millions of views across media platforms. The song later was featured in the blockbuster video game Nascar Heat 2. Their follow up releases combined with their steady touring gained them a national fan base. Along with this, they have also performed alongside the likes of Switchfoot, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, Gavin Degraw, Collective Soul and Andy Grammer.
With ‘Hurry Up and Wait’ set to release December 11th, the EP has so much lyrical relevance during these harrowing times. Having already laid solid foundations, we are expecting big things from Night Without Cars.
