Having recently sold out their own London headline show at Sebright Arms on 29th August, and lauded for their entertaining live slots at Reading and Leeds Festival this year; Lea Porcelain, who released their debut album ‘HYMNS TO THE NIGHT’ earlier in June, are pleased to announce a stunning tech driven remix of ‘Similar Familiar’ by fellow Berliners and Watergate stalwarts, Ruede Hagelstein & Amin Fallaha.
The band explain: “The best things in life are free – is what they say. And this is true in so many ways and in no way truer than in creativity that equals love if you share it. Our friend Amin approached us even before we had our first gig and with him being a friend and acquaintance from Frankfurt’s club scene and further, we gave him the music to remix as he seemed to be such a big support and fan, already at the start. What we got back was pure gratefulness and an amazing piece of work that he did together with his buddy Ruede from the infamous and legendary Watergate Club in Berlin. The result was spinned unreleased by a few of the biggest names in the club scene and we fell for this remix of ‘Similar Familiar’ – E N J O Y !”
The remix is part of a new remix package titled, ‘LEA PORCELAIN REMIXED’ featuring remixes by Scuba, Lea Porcelain’s Julien Bracht and Thom from alt-J to be released this October.
Tracklist: 1. Similar Familiar (Ruede Hagelstein & Amin Fallaha Remix) 2. Warsaw Street (Scuba Remix) 3. Loose Life (Julien Bracht Remix) 4. Remember (Thom alt-J Remix)
