Peter Cunnah & Al Mackenzie made their name in the early ’90s, having several top-ten singles, including hitting number 1 with Things Can Only Get Better. D’Ream has released “D:Ream – The Best Thing”, a brilliant new compilation that includes all the hits, remastered with unreleased live versions and unreleased demos.

The new double CD album The Best Thing is a collection of the early singles remastered from the original 2” tapes. Also included are unreleased live versions of tracks from the 1995 Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig, three unreleased demos including the original instrumental version of Things Can Only Get Better, two newly commissioned remixes from Mark Knight and Illyus & Barrientos and finally, some re-found unreleased remixes from the archive by Sasha, Leftfield, MK, Sure is Pure and The Joy.
