Spiritbox is a Canadian band formed in 2016. The band wasn’t touring until 2020 since their formation. Instead, they started gaining popularity on the internet thanks to their genre-bending music and music videos.
Hence their every live performance creates a buzz. After their appearance at the Download Festival in 2022, the band had two highly anticipated gigs on the 13th and 14th of June at the O2 Academy, Islington.
Xs Noize was lucky enough to get to one of them and see what the hype was all about. The venue was fully packed, and the number of stage divers and people singing along was mind-blowing. It is evident that Spiritbox deserves the online hype, and no wonder they have such a strong, dedicated fan base. See photos of their performance on the 14th of June:
